People who were forced to leave from their homeland to Germany came to this action to remind everyone that there is fighting in Ukraine, that the russians are bombing our cities, shooting civilians, killing children.

•  The demonstrators were well prepared: they had national symbols and posters with them.

Residents of Dortmund saw from afar that Ukrainians were coming. Yellow and blue colors shone on the wreaths of girls, in clothes, in ribbons in braids, paper hearts, flags, paintings, balloons.

•  During the speeches, terrible events in Bucha, Irpin and Kramatorsk were mentioned.
•  Words of gratitude were expressed to the German people and the government for providing shelters, security, assistance and housing to Ukrainians who were forced to flee the war.
•  People put children's soft toys as a symbol of killed children, and lit candles, honoring those killed in the war.
